As Set Designer, Lauren designed Hayes Theatre Co’s sell-out The Drowsy Chaperone for which she was awarded a Sydney Theatre Award for Best Stage Design of an Independent Production. She has also designed Highway Run Production’s RENT, Hayes Theatre Co’s production of High Society, Into the Woods for the Australian Institute of Music, Side Show for One Eyed Man Productions, Working Management’s Mack and Mabel and most recently was the production designer on Calamity Jane for One Eyed Man Productions, which she received two Sydney Theatre Award nominations for Best Costume Design of an Independent Production and Best Set Design for an Independent Production in 2017. Lauren was Production Designer for Luckiest Productions’ national cinema release of David Campbell Sings John Bucchino.
As one half of Highway Run Productions, Lauren Produced and Production Designed O.C.Diva and Love and Death and an American Guitar. Both productions were nominated for Best Cabaret Production at the 2014 Sydney Theatre Awards with the latter receiving the award. As part of Highway Run Productions Lauren produced a Christmas charity concert called Carols by Cabaret at Hayes Theatre Co with all proceeds going to The Wayside Chapel. She produced and designed High Fidelity as part of Highway Run Productions and Neil Gooding Productions in November 2017. She also produced Cry-Baby under her new productions company LPD. Cry-Baby received many stunning reviews and sold out its initial season. Lauren just produced Catch Me if You Can in July 2019 at Hayes Theatre Co to amazing reviews and a sold out season.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lauren and co-producer Gus Murray of Sugary Rum Productions endeavoured to produce RENT. They sold out a season at Sydney Opera House and The Art House Wyong to critical acclaim. They plan on a 2021-2022 tour.
